The Holidays Again?

Today I sit back and wonder how we got all the way around the calendar and back to November again . . . and where was I when that happened? Well no matter how much I'd like to turn the clock back, here come the holidays! I'm keeping this issue short and sweet, we all have so much to do! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Featured Non-Profit The HOLIDAY PROJECT
BRINGING THE SPIRIT OF A HOLIDAY TO THOSE WHO OTHERWISE MIGHT NOT HAVE A CELEBRATION
"The mission of The Holiday Project is to pass along from generation to generation the responsibility of making a difference in the world beginning with experiencing the difference we make in each others lives. We accomplish our mission by supporting local Chapters in visiting people confined to nursing homes, hospitals and other institutions and enriching the experience of a holiday for everyone."
There are chapters of this wonderful organization in various locations throughout the U.S., but it's obvious more chapters are desperately needed. If you've loved someone who lived their remaining years celebrating the holidays in a nursing home or hospital, then like me, you know how much you wish you could have made their day more special, but with our own family obligations that isn't always possible . . .If there isn't a chapter near you, you can still make a difference with a small donation or if this touches your heart, why not consider getting a group together and opening a local chapter? All the information you need is on their website.
My sincere appreciation to the Team Leaders, Founders and Volunteers of The Holiday Project!
